Bringing you the best and more tonight!

We already told you about N, the only letter in Burlesque and Harrison Greenbaum, a funny man, but we’ve got more in store for you, dear audience member.

We’re totally stoked to welcome back to our stage Jessica Delfino, who wowed the crowd with her musical mastery of the rape whistle back in February. Here’s a little bit of bio on her:

Jessica, very happy to be performing with us!Jessica Delfino has been publicly denounced by the US Catholic League for her vulgar displays of, um, music. She has performed in festivals world wide, including Reading & Leeds. Her show is fun for the whole family, except for the kids. Check her out on Facebook, Twitter, jessydelfino.blogspot, the whole shebang, or just google her and see what comes up.

We’re also near to staining our shorts with excitement over welcoming to our stage for the first time a loyal and regular fan, Nick Brentley

Nick is not your average freelancing artist.  Outside of singing, dancing, choreographing, modeling and acting, he specializes in “omniployment” or passing as a cashier, waiter or janitor and the like to a presumptuous public amidst a growing list of establishments.  The summer months often expand his skill set to include said occupations and other non-artistic pursuits, but please don’t tell his non-existent agent.  Nick is very much on the rise with his crafts and is pleased to make his debut with the multitudinous giddy.  He encourages you to anticipate the launch of a media-laden, interactive www.nickbrentley.com.

Next Show!Take 5 and call me in the morning!

So the theme of our next show is 5 A Day. Your gracious hosts came up with this one while discussing which vegetable we most embody. Evangeline would be a carrot, Busty an eggplant. Although aubergine sounds a bit sexier, don’t you think? And of course, we want to recognize and celebrate June as the fruity-est of months! Yay, Happy Gay Pride, New York!

But like anything we do, we can’t leave it at the obvious! Oh no, we’re pushing out performers to come up with their most creative interpretations of this ever so healthful and helpful phrase. And when you ask a bunch of clowns, comedians, artists, and freaks what they like to do 5 times a day, who knows what you’ll end up with! I can’t wait to find out. Especially with the line up we’re puttin’ on stage this time!

Drum roll, please…….

We’ve got Harrison Greenbaum. This man is impressive. He’s smart-and has the Harvard degree to prove it. (Someone once told me that Harvard alums like to say they “went to a small college outside of Boston” in order to sound modest. I say, fuck it, you worked hard, tell the world loud and proud!)

Harrison, your humor is showing.

He is famous-well, he’s been on TV anyway. SPIKE TV, the Science Channel and SIRIUS Station to be exact. He’s decorated-winning the coveted name of finalist for the Andy Kaufman Award 2009 and a bunch more! Gee, that Andy Kaufman fellow was funny! So is Harrison!

He writes for MAD Magazine, also funny, and has been featured in the New York Times and the Boston Globe. Big time.  And we’ve got him. Click here. http://www.harrisongreenbaum.com

We’ve got N, the NC-17 of Burlesque. What Dizzy Swank and I have to say about her: “Damn, girl, you’s a sexy bitch!”

What N has to say about herself:

N is an multi-form, multi-media artist who is a jill of all trades. As an award winning burlesque performer, she has traveled throughout the country to bring her queer, schizophrenic performance that will shock you and most importantly leave you thinking, which has earned her the title as “The NC17 Of Burlesque”. She won the “Most Humorous” award at the 2009 Boston Burlesque Expo with her work in Hypergender Burlesque and has performed everywhere from the New York Burlesque Festival all the way to reading at the Sex Worker Literati reading series.

N owns "come hither" She invented and copyrighted that shit

In addition to co-producing her hit burlesque show HyperGender Burlesque in NYC, she is a videographer, professional singer, makeup artist, model, sex blogger & most awesom-est person. Read more about her at www.thevaginaadventures.com, www.hypergender.com and www.nc17ofburlesque.com.

Stay tuned! That is to say, come back very soon for more info on the rest of June’s line up:

Nick Brently, Jessica Delfino, Kibibi Dillon, and more!

Just a tasty snapshot of the delights to come:

Charlie Demos

"Anatomy: Bones" In this two night event, electronic recording artist Charlie Demos deconstructs his music in an undressing of the compositional process. Peel back the skin of his latest songs to see the skeleton underneath.

Charlie Demos is an unforgettable musical talent and we welcome him to our stage with more than a few anticipatory shudders of delight. He will accompany himself on keyboards in a performance that is not to be missed.

Johnny Blazes

Johnny Blazes, known throughout the country for hir gender-blending, genre-bending, tongue-in-cheek performances..

Johnny gracefully (and hilariously) combines drag, clown, comedy, and a little somethin all hir own, creating performances that delight as well as provoke..is your interest piqued? Good.

Rebecca Nagle

Don't worry, she's a pro.

Giddy Multitude is ecstatic to welcome Rebecca Nagle back to our stage! Last time we had the privilege of working with her, she was onstage at House of Yes in Brooklyn, combining media in some beautiful disturbing ways. Oatmeal and mashed potatoes, you guys. Plus fishnets. Wowie. Please do yourself a favor and check this Baltimore-based gal out while she is in town..

Animals and such

It was a dark (and not yet stormy) night. But then, it got really stormy. And by stormy, I mean snowy.

Y’all know what I am talking about…the last Giddy Multitude show (and our first one at House of Yes) ended in a night blanketed in virgin folds of soft white fluffiness that lead to a day filled with more of the same. So, if you made it out to that show, kudos all around and I hope you are still alive.

BUT…we move forward in this life, the show must go on, and all that… and it does! Our upcoming show (March 25 at 9PM) is also slated for House of Yes, and we couldn’t be more excited. Any time the Multitude includes aerialists, it is a cause for sparkles and celebration…OH-pah!

This show is themed “Animal Queendom.” Make of that what you will. Or, better yet, satisfy your curiosity and come check it out! Here are some Totally Professional, Non-Photobooth promotional pictures of your lovely hostesses (Busty Kitten and Miss Evangeline) to inspire you further:

animal concern, due to an approaching predator

the ol' "hiding in the foliage until danger has passed."

the ol' "hiding in the foliage until danger has passed."

the aforementioned predator has been eaten by an even scarier, more threatening predator in a "big fish, bigger fish" scenario. the kittens (busty and e) are safe.

Hyper Gender this SAT!

Busty Kitten performing at WOW Cafe Theatre this Sat at 10 pm. HyperGender Burlesque is NY’s premier gender bending, social construction denying monthly burlesque show. www.hypergender.com Also performing, previous TGM ers Lydia Love and Lady Scoutington, as well as future TGMers and hosts Agent N and JZ Bich! It sells out, so get there early for tickets. Muah!xxoo

Love was in the air!

And I mean that literally. Now I can’t just keep giving up all the juicy details of every show for free. If you want a play by play breakdown, you’re gonna have to pay for it. I will accept dishwashing services and sensual massage.

What I can do, just for you, ‘cuz you’re special, is give you a few of the highlights. Ready? Let’s see if I can do it all in one breath…

Jessica Delfino’s gotta magic pussy, but you better not rape it; a Kira Kupcake like love elf shared her drunken woes and the shade of her parasol; Elvis (Ellie Steingraeber, Ellie-vis, if you will) made an appearance, he’s alive, he can fly, and he’s got a hot bod!; speaking of hot bod, Bianca Dagga-queer queen of burlesque showed us hers; Miss Kae Burke flew her colors high causing admiration and awkward giggles; Sara G. Y’all proves she can be as serious(ly provocative) as she is funny; Evangeline hosted, mosted, and mashed songs with grace; and there was oh so much more!

Oh, all right, I can’t get away with that oh so much more crap. I mean, if nothing else, I’m cheating the incredible performers who’ve I just left out. And believe me, they are worth every word.

Like A.C. Prouser, who did fancy trapeze tricks while juggling 5 balls! without batting an eyelash, I might add; Amazing Amy and Harlan Muir rejoined the fun with their accordian/extreme yoga combo; OMG how could I have almost forgotten Rebeccca Nagle, who turned us on, grossed us out, then taught us why (What? Midnight lesson on the abject? Yes, please!); Jacob Jampel didn’t eat his shirt but he made me choke with laughter; and of course I was there too. Tango dancing in clown makeup, as usual.

I must say a big big thank you to The House of Yes for hosting us, we all had such a great time and hope to go back soon!

Next show, no snow. Clap your hands if you believe in spring. Pratfalls and pasties to you all! XXOO, Busty Kitten.

What’s in a name?

moonshine + nightgowns = Uh-oh. . . {your lovely hostess cups of cake, yours truly and Ms. Busty Kitten}

Hi ladies and Gents, Evangeline here..

{OK, let me stop right there. I have been feeling a little lacking in the stage-name department lately. I am surrounded by the Busty Kittens and Lady Scoutingtons of the world, but alas, my vaudeville name has yet to reveal itself to me. I am thinking, Mistress Something-or-other..maybe that should just be it. eh. Ideas welcome.}

Anyway, it is that time again..we’ve got a show around the corner (Feb 25, 9pm, House of Yes, 342 Maujer st, Bushwick. only $10!) and the excitement is mounting, like a mountain. This will be the GMV’s very first show at House of Yes. which means it is our first show to include aerial dancing, which means that if you miss it, you will be sad and if you attend you will be delighted. We also have some favorites returning to our stage, including but not limited to Kira Kupcake, Sara G, Y’all, and Jill Maglio, among others. New for this show, we are proud to welcome Rebecca Nagle (http://www.rebeccanagle.com), Jessica Delfino  (http://jessydelfino.blogspot.com), and Ellie Steingraeber.

Rebecca Nagle: performance, new media and community artist. {Grrrlesque, and then some..}

Rebecca Nagle is a fearless pioneer into the land of radical performance; this lady uses her body, mind and wide-ranging skill-set to push the boundaries of her audience in unexpected ways. Her work is a direct reaction to the world as she perceives it; a multi-layered dialogue that bounces back and forth in the space between life and art, and back again, like a self-propelled pinball in the machine of your dreams.

Jessica Delfino, chillin' with a bit of light reading

Jessica Delfion is another self-propelled lady, but her first language in the performance is song. A singer, songwriter and comedienne, she uses music as an avenue for hilarity, commentary, and such. She plays instruments with strings (guitar, ukelele) and wind instruments (voice, rape whistle) and if there is a taboo in the house, then good cause she will tickle it right under the chin.

Ellie flyin' high. Amazepants? Wowtrousers? Yes and YES

Ellie Steingraeber is an arial dance artist, and if you like to go “oooh” then you will like watching her. We are happy to welcome her to our stage (or rather, the air above our stage) and plus, people in the air are up there with fire, unicorns and chocolate cake in my list of “shit that’s pretty great.”

OK, well that’s all for now. Feb 25, 9pm, House of Yes, 342 Maujer st, Bushwick. A mere $10 to have your mind blown and your fancy tickled. Worth it!
